From April 3, 2015 until May 17, 2017, while incarcerated at the Army’s United States Disciplinary Barracks, Chelsea Manning dictated 1.4K tweets by phone to an outside intermediary who promptly posted them under her name. As of July 27, 2022, she had generated 11K tweets and amassed 439.8K followers.
